| 6:54 pm | Not long now until school returns. This is a positive to do something useful with my time. I am sure it will be appropriately challenging, though I am sure I will handle it. All it will require is determination from the beginning which I am sure is where so many people go wrong. Nothing is ever gained from procrastination. However, it seems school will be vastly different. Firstly, without Dumbledore as Headmaster, and then a new Ministry. A new agenda in power always causes changes to education policies and I have a feeling this will certainly be the case this time. |

| 6:03 pm | Reviewing the work effort of everyone in the Ministry makes sense, but it just seems funny that this is from a Minister who was appointed when the last one was murdered. Of course, it is only one incident, though I will hardly be trusting this Minister at this point. |

| 5:26 pm | I do hope that we get our Hogwart's letters early this year. I know it is only July, and I do not expect it now, but we really do need it in the next couple of weeks. I can never fathom why it is sent so late. The teachers do not seem to understand that, if we know what books we need, we can buy them early and have more time to study. In particular, this is crucial for those, such as myself, who are entering our OWL or NEWT year. I certainly want to be preparing now to have an advantage against the many who could not care about their success at school. However, this year in particular, with so much uncertainty about who will even be in charge, no doubt we will have to wait. I think that I should just buy some books that have been used in past years and study the parts that relate to the current curriculum. |

| 10:10 am | This is bull shit. What is the Ministry thinking? Of course, You Know Who is going to try and breakout Azkaban again and they do not even bother boosting security. It is ridiculous. I, or anyone else with some intelligence, could run the country better. Who really knows what will happen now? I just hope, somehow, the Ministry will hang on. |
